Meet Max, he thinks he’s funny – you judge.

Meet Max Booth the 3rd, Editor-in-Chief of Perpetual Motion Machine. Managing Editor of Dark Moon Digest. Columnist at LitReactor. Co-host of Castle Rock Radio. THE NIGHTLY DISEASE!

What got you interested in writing?

I owed a lot of money to the mafia after betting wrong with the horses. My father always told me, if I needed to make some big money fast, wisest choice would be to start writing. He was 100% correct. Now I own two yachts. Not one. Two.

Tell us a little about your chosen genre.

I mainly write hardcore erotica. Stuff to jerk off to, you know, the real sexy stuff. As my father also used to say: if there’s a hole, there’s a way.

What are your happiest memories in your writing career?

One time I wrote this story about a guy who moved to New York to pursue his dream of being a writer and he suffered some minor money issues and failed to seduce a beautiful waitress. It was published to much acclaim by my peers and I received dozens of awards.

How do you handle success and failure?

I have never failed. When I succeed, which is often, I celebrate by driving down to the gas station and buying a 44oz Diet Coke fountain drink.

What makes you write when you’re exhausted and your fingers ache?

I learned a trick many years ago to keep myself motivated. Basically, I hired a man named Dan off of Craigslist to stand above me as I write, and every five seconds of inactivity on my part, he is instructed to punch me right in the balls.

What is your advice to young and new writers?

I recommend hiring Dan, or someone with similar skills.

Are you a traditionalist or a digital? (paper or eBook)

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What is this? Black Mirror?

Do you blog?

I’ve blogged.

Do you self-publish?

Are you flirting with me?
